About us
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide service to the community, a spirit of sisterhood where women can socialize together, and preservation of a historic resource for Redwood City – our clubhouse.
Community Service
We serve our community through volunteer action, donations, and use of our clubhouse. We also welcome guest speakers from local organizations to support their community outreach. Our focus is on women, families, the environment, and veterans.

Book Swap & Wine Club
Bring a book are ready to discuss and share. Meets quarterly. See our latest list of books.
Bridge Club
Players at all levels are welcome Thursday evenings.
Cooking Club
Our Cooking Club makes use of our well-equipped, spacious kitchen to explore cuisines and learn new recipes.
Fiber Arts Group
Drop-in group Wednesday evenings for knitters and other fabric arts crafters.
League of Widows Social Group
Our monthly informal social group for widows provides an opportunity to learn from each other and make new friends.
Mahjongg Club
Chinese style mahjongg weekly on Wednesday afternoons.
Membership Meetings
We meet once a month for meetings that feature Club business, member announcements, speakers, and lunch.
Member Memorials
Contributions from members provide funds for tree planting to help reforestation in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Volunteering
We partner with many other local organizations for community service volunteer activities. Club committees also offer volunteer opportunities.
Yoga at the Clubhouse
Tuesday evenings and Wednesday morning classes offered by Wholehearted Yoga. All are welcome.
Part of an International Movement
We joined the California Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1910 and are currently members of the Loma Prieta District
We are also members of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
