VOLUNTEER SERVICE

We have been serving the Redwood City area since our founding in 1909.

We continue to build and strengthen our community through donations, volunteer work, and free or reduced-rate use of the clubhouse.

Between 2019 and 2022 we contributed

 1,445 hours of volunteer service

$34,761 in donations

$114,505 in clubhouse discounts to nonprofit groups.

And more to come in 2023!

AFFORDABLE VENUE

The clubhouse is one of the few affordable venues available to residents of the Redwood City area for important life events such as weddings, baptisms, memorials, and quinceaneras.

SOCIAL CONNECTIONS

We offer a unique opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to meet and connect.

All our activities are open to the community, including weekly bridge and mahjongg, monthly speaker luncheons, and special groups such as our League of Widows social group.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION

Our beautiful Craftsman-style clubhouse was built in 1911 after two years of intensive fundraising by the founding members.

The building was registered as a national historic landmark in 2022. Restoring and preserving our clubhouse as part of Redwood City’s built heritage is a major component of our mission.
